About this coffee

Stone fruit and citrus flavours are nicely balanced by a crisp acidity and lingering cedar finish.

San Sebastian is one of 50-odd farms that can legitimately claim the appellation of Antigua and boasts heritage that stretches back to 1890. It is currently in the hands of the 4th generation of the founding family, the Fallas, who live and work on the farm. The farm spans 450 ha and enjoys a spectacular setting on the slopes of the Acatenango volcano. Coffees from San Sebastian are a regular on our menu and this year we have brought a speciality selected lot from the Duranzo Grande section of the farm which occupies the highest elevations under cultivation. At 2000 masl the coffee ripens slowly intensifying the sweet stone fruit and citrus flavours which are nicely balanced by a crisp acidity and lingering cedar finish.
