About this coffee

A classic Kenyan with ripe citrus and fruit flavours.

The Muthingini Coffee Factory has been processing coffee from the farmers of its surrounding villages in the Kirinyaga District for 50 years. The Factory is run by Rwama Farmers Co-operative Society, made up of 1,560 local farming families. The area experiences a twice-annual production cycle with an early harvest from April–June, followed by a later second harvest from October–December. This coffee was selected from the second harvest and displays classic ripe citrus and fruit flavours that engage a syrupy body to deliver a complex and well structured acidity.
